Reset
A paid restart of a challenge with a fresh balance, usually offered after a failed attempt or before one fails.
A reset puts the account back to its starting balance and clears the days traded, often at a lower price than buying a new challenge. Some firms also offer free retries if you end a phase in profit without reaching the target.
Resets change the true cost of passing: the first attempt costs the full fee and each later one the reset price. The expected cost per pass is fee + reset price × (1 − p) ÷ p, where p is your pass probability per attempt.
