Cost-per-pass calculator
The sticker price is one attempt. The real price of a pass is the fee divided by your chance of passing, plus the resets along the way. Compare up to three account sizes.

How it works
- Expected attempts = 1 ÷ pass probability. At 25% you need 4 attempts on average.
- Expected cost per pass = fee + retry price × (1 − p) ÷ p: the first attempt at full price, then the average number of retries at the reset or discounted price.
- Chance within N attempts = 1 − (1 − p)^N, and the attempts for a 90% chance are the smallest N where that reaches 90%.
- Cost per $10,000 puts different account sizes on the same scale.
Attempts are treated as independent with the same pass probability. Your pass probability is the input that matters most, and the hardest to know: an honest estimate from your own trading stats beats a hopeful guess. Getting funded is only half the cost picture; the payout calculator covers what a funded account pays back. Free retries, refunds and discounts vary by firm, so check the current offer.
