Profit split and payouts
The share of funded-account profits paid to you, and the conditions for withdrawing it.
With an 80% split, $5,000 of profit pays you $4,000. Payout rules commonly include a waiting period before the first payout, a minimum amount, a payout schedule, and sometimes a refund of the challenge fee with the first payout. Some firms raise the split over time.
A payout usually resets nothing about the drawdown rules, but at some firms withdrawing profit lowers the balance the floor is measured from. Check the payout policy, not just the headline split.
